Altered Memories
Altered memories are a series of work that started with a collage I created with found photographs, making my own image as a new memory, my own memory created from anonymous photos taken in various places. Space and place are part of our memories. I recreated this specific collage in various different mediums, experimenting with techniques to create my own version/altered memory of the image.
Other collage works include the transfer of images with Acetone, to create ghostly images that become a drawing or drawing medium. It also includes Cyanotype collages with image negatives and positives prints from the original photographs.
